R.I.P.P.E.D. Season 30 Launch Party

R.I.P.P.E.D. – The One Stop Body Shock® was created by Terry and Tina Shorter. They created a fitness program that encompasses all aspects of physical fitness which R.I.P.P.E.D. is an acronym for: Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet. The first five components are taught in a 50 minute class, while the last component, Diet, can be found here on the website. R.I.P.P.E.D. is designed for all fitness levels, allowing a gym novice and trained athlete to both feel an intense full body workout.

The R.I.P.P.E.D. class follows its acronym and changes up the workout every 6 to 9 minutes, allowing every muscle group to get a quick yet effective workout, thus the tagline – One Stop Body Shock. The ‘Body Shock’ doesn’t stop there, the R.I.P.P.E.D. workout is continually evolving through seasons. R.I.P.P.E.D. is currently in Season 29.

Specially produced music, created by Terry, Tina, and their production team at M42D, takes the R.I.P.P.E.D.  program to the next level.

Helps insomnia, stress, anxiety, people that practice restorative yoga depend less on meds for anxiety.
Props rise up to the body, instead of the body to the props. They provide support for the body to relax into the pose, relieving your muscles & bones of their roles in supporting the body, allowing the nervous system to send & receive fewer messages & becomes quite. ***No Young children in this class thank you.

Fitness Friday Happy Hour Belly Dancing with Jamie

Jamie has been bellydancing and choreographing in the Lehigh Valley area since 2007 when she began studying Middle Eastern dance under Amala Gameela. In 2008, she became a founding member of Abzahrah Middle Eastern Dance Company based out of Bethlehem, PA. She has studied with such renowned teachers as Mohamid Shahin of Cairo, Katalin Schafer of Hungary, Suzanna del Vecchio, and Ranya Renee, among others. Abzahrah performs all over the tri-state area at festivals, charity events, haflas, and educatonal programs of all kinds. Jamie, under her stage name "Noorah," specializes in modern and classic Egyptian cabaret as well as Egyptian folkloric dances.

Middle Eastern dance, commonly known as bellydance or danse Orientale, is a mesmerizing art form originating from a culture rich in history and beauty. As a dance style, it welcomes people from all backgrounds and of all body types. You might think, “Oh, I can’t move like that!” but you will be pleasantly surprised to learn that, with some practice, you can! Come enjoy an evening full of laughs, smiles, and shimmies with friends!
